House rules
Three rules, taken straight from our own mark.
RULE 01
Sign it.
The dot in our mark is a full stop — it lands after something worth standing behind. No anonymous takes. Your name goes on your opinion, the way ours goes on this studio.
RULE 02
Clear the bar.
The bar in our mark is the bar a claim has to clear before it gets said out loud. Every argument is questioned before it is printed. If it survives, it runs.
RULE 03
Say it out loud.
Sincerity here is not soft. Say the true thing at full volume — the rules of type in our mark face each other across the bar because a take is told to someone, not shouted into the void.
What we publish

The essay
A considered argument, built properly. 800–1,200 words that take a position and earn it.

The counter
A direct reply — to a headline, a trend, a take we published, or the story everyone has agreed to believe. Disagreement, done well.

The letter
Shorter, warmer, first-person. 300–600 words on something you've seen up close that the narrative keeps missing.

The field note
Reporting from wherever you stand — a market, a newsroom, a factory floor, a family WhatsApp group. What it actually looks like from there.
